Kutna Hora’s Sedlec Church (also called Bone Church), located an hour from Prague in the Czech Republic, is one of the most unique church’s in Eastern Europe. Below is a photograph of its stunning, and slightly creepy, ceiling. Human bones form intricate designs, in addition to a massive chandelier.
The chandelier hung low from the ceiling. Joints along the main shaft connected femurs and other long bones together. Pelvic bones splay out forming plates for candles.
