We’re excited to announce that our director, Genevieve Hathaway, will be speaking as part of the NW Peak brewery’s Wednesday Adventure series. Mark your calendars for October 7th. Come out to Ballard, Washington, drink some great beer, and join a fun gathering of interesting folks. Genevieve will be speaking on how women’s mountaineering schools are being utilized to push for greater gender equality in the greater Middle East and North Africa. She will share their successes and the unique challenges these programs face. Genevieve will be discussing Pakistan, Afghanistan, Morocco and other countries in the region.
