Day 10 – Marveling at the architectural wonder of the Burj Al Arab, Dubai
Looking like a billowing sail flowing on one of Dubai’s many beaches, the Burj Al-Arab is a modern masterpiece of creativity and ingenuity. It’s name means Tower of the Arabs and is the third tallest hotel in the world. While the famous Burj Khalifa gets iconic status in Dubai, the Burj Al-Arab is also not to be missed and is worth the view from both the outside and inside.
Travel tip: The only way inside is to either stay at the hotel and dine at one of it’s high end restaurants for lunch, dinner or high tea. To enjoy this building on a more modest budget, catch a taxi down to the Jumeriah beach sunset. It’s a wonderful local experience and a memorable way to enjoy the stunning Burj Al-Arab.
